As I stand at the lake to reflect on the past that will never be resolved
Dismantling the heads of the gods
A strange fruit found by the edge of the road
The dying fruit waiting for the fly
Burst of light that burns out
All-seeing eye by the beige garden bed
The cold concrete laboratory
It’s beneath the surface that the beast will raise
It paralysed it’s victims to unknown fear
Hiding behind the rocks
Death within the landscape
